My take on savings and investments

I quote my best lesson from a post on 103 lessons often learnt too late in life.

“There is no single best way to save or invest. And there’s no right way to be productive or do your best work.”

I broke the norm to not save enough from my early working life. I am 45 now with enough savings to last 6 months without work.


I fear, at times though, my indiscipline costing dearly to my family. I do have insurance cover that hedges the risk of my death with payout lasting some 5 years. I have a working spouse, two teenage daughters, and aging parents
