Original vs Ordinary

I failed to overcome the inertia of inaction despite being well aware about the pitfalls of maintaining a status quo.

Psychologists have studied the preference for status quo in quite a detail and my reasons for being in status quo is/are do not make me stand out as an outlier from what is already known from research.

Summarily, I can outline two main reasons for not being able to overcome status quo and be my own original, atleast evidently.

One, I thought about new ideas for business but never actioned. Two, I believed myself to be extremely vulnerable to kleptomnasia.

Today, I may have actioned, atleast symbolically, on an idea that is not outstanding. I run the risk of being disinterested soon.

I am vulnerable to returning to the status quo again.

This seems to be a fight between original vs ordinary.
