I met a senior – 65 plus – women entrepreneur today. My second interaction with a senior professional in last 30 days.
She has been a cosmetic manufacturer for large brands. She is outspoken and a seasoned professional. None of the standard negotiation tricks work with her. She is too seasoned to negotiate on discounts and credit period.
She listens so little from someone 25 years younger to her. She has a smart distraction tactics to impress, claim ignorance, say No, and backtrack from what was agreed and decided.
Will I be different when I grow old to be living 60 plus? Most likely No. I will be just like the way she is.
Oh! I am already like her today…
