One thing that I need to overcome is that social media is all about being outspoken and showcasing. Reality usually differs from the image portrayed. But the art of selling at every opportunity available is what makes the difference.
I have shyed away from social media wondering what is so unique about myself that my posts would be read and liked. I wondered if I could think ‘original’ and ‘different’ from the content I read in books and on social media. I have been blogging on life experiences for some 14 ysars but when it comes to Twitter, I have flopped. I hardly have anything ‘original’ to speak about.
But the fact is that however raw a thought or an idea might be, social media lets you post it and build an online personality for yourself.
